How to use the Line Sorter and Duplicate Remover

Sorting
- Natural compares numbers by value:
server-2comes beforeserver-10. - Dictionary uses your language's alphabetical order, so accented letters sort where you'd expect.
- Code point matches
LC_ALL=C sort: uppercase before lowercase, digits and punctuation by their character codes.
Duplicates
- Remove (keep first) is like
sort -u. Unless Case-sensitive is on,Server-2andserver-2count as the same line. - Keep only lines that appear once is like
uniq -u: every repeated line is dropped entirely. - Count is like
sort | uniq -c, prefixing each line with how often it appears.
